Fun, safe 'Trunk-or-Treat' at Penn State Mont Alto

On Oct. 31, Penn State Mont Alto’s Student Nursing Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) will host a safe alternative for trick-or-treaters with a Trunk-or-Treat on the Mont Alto Campus. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Penn State Mont Alto commuter parking lot. Local families are invited to participate. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Penn State Mont Alto Forestry Club will host Ryan Davis, forests program manager for the Alliance of the Chesapeake Bay, for a talk titled “Forests for Bats” from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 30 in the General Studies Building Auditorium on campus.

Lt. Col. Barbara B. Cross will be the featured speaker during the Penn State Mont Alto Student Veterans Association’s annual Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 9. The event will begin at 12:20 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial behind Conklin Hall on the Mont Alto campus.

Penn State Laureate John Champagne will present “Art and Politics: The Case of Corrado Cagli” from 12:20 to 1:10 p.m. Nov. 7 on the first floor of Penn State Mont Alto Library. The event is free and open to the public.
